These green beans are anything but basic! Sauté them with fresh garlic, almonds, and a touch of lemon juice for an incredible savory and light side dish!
1tablespoonunsalted butter(option to replace with ghee or vegan butter)
1largefistful of fresh green beans
2largegarlic cloves(sliced thin lengthwise)
2tablespoonslivered almonds(ready-made or slice almonds into thin slivers)
1 ½ teaspoonlemon juice(or more to taste)

Heat a large skillet on medium heat with 1 tablespoon butter. Once hot, add garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. Add green beans and almonds and sauté for another 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve warm!
