Fruit Smoothie That Can't Be Beet

This smoothie has a vibrant color as well as flavor! You can definitely taste the beets, but you can also easily decrease how much you put in if you prefer less beet flavor and more fruity. Such a great smoothie for your morning pick-me-up!

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cups quick oats
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 1 ¼ cup frozen bananas 1 large banana or 2 small
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup plain full fat Greek yogurt
  • 2-3 teaspoon raw honey
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ¼ cup aloe juice (or water or beet juice)
  • cup raw beets peeled and chopped into 1” cubes
  • optional 1 teaspoon ground flax seeds

Instructions
 

  • Prep ahead of time by ensuring you have sliced bananas and pineapples frozen.
  • When ready to blend, start with soaking the quick oats in ¼ cup hot water in a small bowl while you prepare the remaining smoothie (option to soak rolled oats overnight).
  • Add all ingredients to a blender, adding the soaked oats last, and blend until smooth!
