2 cups super washing soda
2 cups borax
¼ cups kosher salt
1 teaspoon citric acid (optional addition, option to sprinkle in separately to each load)

In a mixing bowl add all ingredients and combine with a fork. Break apart any clumps.
Pour mixture into an airtight container.
Use desiccant packets in container to absorb any moisture.
Use 1 Tablespoon of soap per load.
Add citric acid to dishwasher separate instead of adding it into the soap mix as it adds moisture and can make it clump and harden.

We use an old Nesquik container and we tape a desiccant pack to the underside of the lid to help prevent moisture buildup.
