Green Beans Almondine
These green beans are anything but basic! Sauté them with fresh garlic, almonds, and a touch of lemon juice for an incredible savory and light side dish!

- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (option to replace with ghee or vegan butter)
- 1 large fistful of fresh green beans
- 2 large garlic cloves (sliced thin lengthwise)
- 2 tablespoon slivered almonds (ready-made or slice almonds into thin slivers)
- 1 ½ teaspoon lemon juice (or more to taste)
You can easily double this recipe-decide this before starting!
Heat a large skillet on medium heat with 1 tablespoon butter. Once hot, add garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. Add green beans and almonds and sauté for another 7-8 minutes. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Serve warm!
