A creamy and sweet topping for any dessert that only includes 3 ingredients.
I would say my all time favorite topping is fresh homemade whipped cream without sugar, but sometimes I want something a bit creamier and sweeter. Below you can find a refined-sugar free recipe as well as an option with refined sugar.
I’m a huge fan of Greek yogurt, which you can quickly realize if you’ve used any of my recipes! But, sometimes I want a little more thickness and sweetness with desserts. This recipe hits the spot every time. No it’s not a light and fluffy whipped topping but sometimes something so light just isn’t enough.
For the Cream Cheese I always use full fat. If you're using cream cheese all the time of course less fat would be healthier but if you're using it now and then, go for more fat and more flavor
Blended White Sugar is used in the recipe with refined sugar instead of powdered sugar. I avoid powdered sugar and cornstarch when possible and it's so easy to make an alternative!
This recipe uses a small amount (¼ cup) of blended sugar which you could make by blending about ¼ cup white sugar but sometimes that's not enough to effectively blend in a blender. For that reason I usually have a jar of blended sugar on hand and I can pull out as needed. No other ingredients, just sugar!
Yields: 4 servings which I’m considering 2 tablespoon each.
